Wake On Lan

Here is a simple Wake-On-LAN application for the .net framework. Now WOL is a standard that allows the remote start-up of an ethernet connected PC.
This remote start up is acheived by sending the so-called Magic packet, which is an ethernet frame containing 6 repetitions of “0xFF” followed by 16 repetitions of the target ethernet-card MAC address.
You can download the project here.

The compiled project above requires the .NET framework.

  1. Wow, thanks a lot, I’ve been reading your still, really useful although it would be better if you posted a tutorial fully on how to patch MSN nudger ( yea, as lame as it sounds ), and when I mean full, I mean like a picture tutorial, maybe some people will learn more.

  2. Edit: Stuff, not still.

  3. I actually did, but I posted it on a forum.
I have edited the original post on my blog.
